Meaning Desire

We sort of captured permanently in our own narratives, (non) conscious concepts and assumptions. Whatever we encounter we make fit in these narratives; it is probably the main involvement of our thinking. Our ability to wonder makes it possible to step out of our narratives from time to time. Wonderment is at the bases of creation. Often underestimated is the importance of wonderment while being involved in a physical confrontation with matter. Experiencing what feeds thinking.
Anton Reijnders (1955) is visual artist and regularly leading workshops and involved as visiting artist in the Netherlands and abroad.
